A talking green stuffed cat with the strange ability to morph into a much bigger and more reckless form of itself. A gift given to Kyle by Anne, it accidentally ended up in the Lu Mahi mall. Still, it managed to find Kyle and has stuck around, occasionally leaving him to look around the area for information.

Usually just referred to as “the cat”, it's eventually given the name Makana.

As a soul bound to a vessel made of Eltyrium, the Cat has latent wizardry it can learn and master. An obvious manifestation of this is the Cat's “monster form”, but the shapeshifting could eventually evolve to things like a human form, etc. Currently though, the Cat has no conscious control over when it transforms.

• The cat was a joke character, and is weyylh's least favorite character
• Every time a character says something about having forgotten about the cat, it's because the author had forgotten to write the cat into the scene, despite its presence there.
  • The outline has “remember the cat” pasted every few lines because weyylh genuinely forgets about it.
  • There is a point in the outline with the line “you are now allowed to forget about the cat”
• It was not until version 4 of the game that the reason for anything the cat did was explained.
